The Topaz products are really impressing me. Hope this is what was going on with you and this helps. This threw me when I first started using it. If you save the image you can then look at the saved file, zoom in and out etc.
TOPAZ STUDIO 2 BATCH PROCESSING UPDATE
Change the view and you have to update it to see a preview. Unless you save the sharpened image as a file you lose the sharpening when you change the view.

If you like the preview, then save it and look at the saved picture in full view. If you change anything the preview is no longer there unless you tell it to scan it again. If that's true, then the problem is that what you were looking at was a preview. You then changed the view on it and the sharpening wasn't there. Maybe I'm misunderstanding this, but it sounds like you sharpened the picture, but didn't save it. Is the time to process a batch faster than processing a single photo at a time?Maybe I'm missing something. So is this much to do about nothing or as I mentioned initially am I missing something? Also wondering about the ability now to batch process with Sharpen AI. My 30 days has lapsed and I never bought the product. I even went so far as to take my computer into the shop adding more RAM and a new higher end video card costing just shy of $500. I also found it very time consuming to sharpen a single picture. My initial reaction was very positive but when I return the picture to normal viewing I really couldn't notice the improvement. I found that without question it sharpened my pictures when viewing at 100% or greater.

I tried Sharpen AI for the 30 day free trial. I haven't liked what I get if I use both on the same image. Of course, it is creating a problem of when to use DxO. I had just downloaded a new update tonight for Sharpen AI, version 2.0.4. And at 1/1000 shutter speed, there is just enough hand shake not corrected by image stabilization that the original is a bit soft. With the lens at 300mm and the fact that this camera is m43 so that the crop factor is 2x, the equivalent FOV was what would be had with a 600mm lens. This is not always the case since Denoise AI Clear in many other cases is the winner. In this case, Sharpen AI Stabilize was the winner this time. And to the right is Topaz Sharpen AI using Stabilize Mode. The middle is Topaz Denoise using Clear Mode. To the left is the original taken in RAW. The fly is on the pine cone in the middle of the image. The lens is at 300mm using f/7.1 and 1/1000 shutter speed and was hand held. So I decided to see how I could improve that tiny fly with Topaz products. Topaz Studio v2.3.2 (圆4) + Reg.zip (973.I was playing around with my Olympus EM5ii and the Olympus 75-300mm lens and noticed this fly sitting on a pine cone. Everything that you do in Studio can be edited and adjusted after the fact with a fully non-destructive layer workflow. Mix and match filters and effects with different blending modes and opacity. Studio considers masking and selective adjustments to be a core task, and features several innovations that make selective editing substantially easier and faster for you. Very rarely do you want to apply the same effect to all parts of your image the same. In Studio, we’ve thought about what common adjustments would look like if they were designed today, and updated them to their most modern and useful forms. Most image editor tools are the same: your Exposure in one editor is the same Exposure in another. If it doesn’t contribute to the vision of creating singularly beautiful images through post-processing, then we’re not including it. There’s a lot of photo editors out there that help you manage your workflow and make minor contrast adjustments.
That’s why you won’t find library management, design tools, batch editing, or other common “image editor” tools in Studio. It’s for creating works that push the bounds of your artistic vision the few that you know you’ll look back upon in years as one of your best creations.
Studio is the editor to use when you want jaw-dropping images and you’re not afraid to spend the time to get them. It’s designed specifically around the artisanal post-processing workflow of carefully crafting a single image to your vision. This starts after you select your image and ends when you export your finished work. Topaz Studio 2 has only one purpose: creative photo editing. Edit your images beautifully with powerful filters and frictionless masking in a fine-tuned non-destructive layer workflow.
